Review - Connaught Place, Central Delhi

CP is the largest commercial and financial business centers of Delhi. It was built as a showpiece of Lutyens and named after Duke of Connaught place. CP construction work started during the year 1929 and got finished in the year 1933. This place was modeled after Royal Crescent in Bath, England and has Georgian architecture.

This is one place in the town which will never lose its significance and consign in the heart of the locals, tourists and other visitors alike. The circle house is filled with shops and restaurants mostly on the ground floor while residences on the first floor have mostly been replaced by banks, offices and different other commercial establishments. The inner circles houses different brands like Bon Ton, Adidas, Allen Solly, Lee, Park Svenue, Proline, Pepe, Nike, Orra, Wills lifestyle, Snowhite Wuare, Roopchand Jewellers, Neelkanth Jewellers, Lois Phillipe etc.

There is a beautiful central park in the middle of the CP featuring green water bodies, green lawns, shrubs and trees which adds charm to the place. Below you will find Rajiv Chowk Metro station from where the hordes of the tourists and shoppers emerge. With the huge innovation work being done, this British colonial area is undoubtedly getting a new look and shine.
